We hope this project will support your work in research, reporting, documentation, and evidence-based understanding of Rohingya village names and locations.
After many years of collecting, checking, and correcting village names, we have now brought the project to this stage and made it available for wider use.
We also recognise that there are still errors, missing villages and places, and some incorrect coordinates. We therefore welcome informed feedback that can help improve the accuracy and completeness of the map over time.
Crowdsourcing the Rohingya Village Map
We have launched the site with confidence in its value, and with a clear commitment to improving it further through community knowledge and careful review.
We especially invite Rohingya users to check their village names, comment where there is a mistake, and help add villages or places that may still be missing. In this way, the project can continue to grow as a shared effort to safeguard Rohingya village names.
